The smash-hit musical show that has been all around the world and is now back in Jacksonville, Florida: A benefit event for The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus.
For those of you not yet converted, Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music is a screening of the classic Julie Andrews film musical in glorious, full-screen technicolor, complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along and free magic moments fun pack.
Then, of course, there is the famous fancy-dress competition in which everyone who has come in costume is invited onto the stage to show off their fantastic tailoring skills.
So get those vocal chords warmed up, cut up those chintz curtains and hurry down for the perfect night out.
Costumes are not obligatory but highly recommended!
Our show hosts for the evening will be Evan Gould (Clay County Schools) and Marge Hutton (Chairperson for the City of Orange Park)
The show lasts about 3 hours 50 mins, with an intermission. Refreshments will be available during intermission.
All proceeds benefit the scholarship and programs of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus.
