Dr. Chris Williams is practically a native of Northeast Florida, having lived at the beach since he was 11 years old. He is a graduate of Fletcher Senior High School and the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have eight children ages ten to twenty-two. Chris is an accomplished general dentist who continues to study and improve at every level. His office and training are state-of-the-art and his dental team is one of the best at the beach.
Chris completed his Fellowship at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and is one of only three dentists, in the State of Florida, to study under Dr Bill Hang (Los Angeles, California) where he learned the importance of Facial Orthotropics. This technique utilizes the primary dentition to encourage favorable bone and jaw growth. When started early, before baby teeth are lost, beautiful profiles can be created with room for all thirty two adult teeth.
Facial Orthotropics has been shown to encourage proper airway development which decreases the chance of developing snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). For those adults diagnosed with OSA, Chris will work with the Sleep Physician, in the fabricating of oral appliances that can help in the treatment of OSA. Chris also practices Neuromuscular Dentistry for the diagnosis and treatment of temperomandibular disorders TMD/TMJ.
