Hearing loss is a major public health issue and is the third most common physical condition after arthritis and heart disease. About 20% of adults in the U.S. report some degree of hearing loss.
Dr. Green practices Otology/Neurotology, a subspecialty of ear, nose and throat (ENT) dealing with medical and surgical treatment for problems of the ear and related structures. Together with his staff of four board-certified Audiologists, Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute provides world class care for patients with hearing loss, vertigo, imbalance, cholesteatomas, and acoustic neuromas. With a complete vestibular lab and the highest quality equipment for hearing assessment, the Institute has helped improve quality of life for more than 29,000 patients in the northeast Florida region. His caring and compassionate staff can help you navigate the often confusing world of hearing aids in a patient-friendly atmosphere.
Founder of JHBI, Dr. Green participates in various clinical research trials, has authored eight clinical book chapters and has published more than 35 articles in medical journals. His passion is evidenced by his international volunteer work through his nonprofit organization, Hearing Help for Africa, which brings the gift of hearing to children and adults in need.
