The Quick Law Group offers family and marital law services specifically for women. We specialize in cases involving divorce, custody disputes, alimony, military divorce, domestic violence, and relocation in St. Johns, Duval, Clay, and Nassau Counties.
Our goal is simple: to preserve healthy family relationships, guard the best interests of children, and reach amicable settlements for our clients. We prioritize what’s best for the parents and for the children. No matter what happens in the divorce, we strive to protect the children’s physical, emotional and financial stability.
We advocate aggressively when it comes to child support, so that you will pay (or receive) a fair amount. Our goal is not simply to get a quantitative outcome; it’s to provide genuine, empathetic help for the whole person.
Attorney Heather Quick was a child of divorce herself, so she appreciates the many challenges her clients face. She is also a former prosecutor, who has successfully handled hundreds of complex cases, including jury trials, and has earned a reputation for being a tenacious advocate.
Heather graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of North Florida in 1998. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2000, graduating with honors. Immediately after she graduated, Heather served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit, during which time she prosecuted hundreds of jury trials. Her passion for family law combines her experience as a trial attorney with her natural desire to help clients. She has deep roots in the community. Believe it or not, she is a third generation Jacksonville Beach attorney; she follows in the footsteps of her grandfather and uncle. She opened The Quick Law Group in 2010 with a simple mission: to provide clients with excellent representation based on trust and respect, and focus on their goals throughout the process.
Heather coordinates her excellent, devoted team to serve her clients.
Associate Julie A. Rountree is a family law attorney and Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. She is passionate about protecting children, and she strives to be aggressive, while advocating for fair results.
Associate John J. Clark also built up a robust family law practice in South Florida before moving to Jacksonville and joining the Quick Law Group. Mr. Clark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a Minor in Criminal Justice, from Florida International University, and he obtained his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, in 2000 from the University of Miami School of Law.
